Rating interval 62-65.
Sweet malt and spices with some exotic fruit, banana and melon. Vanilla, straw (some dry grass almost), oily mineral and some leather. There is also some molasses or dry grapes, would probably not recognize this as a whisky if tasted blind. More a rum or a flavored rum even.
Sweet and bitter arrival, wood spice and nutmeg. It a bit like biting on a grape kernel and at the same time bright, like undermatured spirit. Huge lack of integration between the spirit and the cask. Not as pleasant as expected from the nose. If the nose was more like a rum, I would definitely go for a matured fruity grappa on the palate, but definitely not a whisky.
The finish is bitter sweet, slightly metal notes coming through, and a bit raw plastic.
