N: This follows an excellent Glenburgie WB, so pressure is on. The malt is strong, there are hints of blackberry, plum and rhubarb crumble, plasticine and peppered crumpets. its rubbery and it goes without saying at 60.5%, its phenolic. 30 minutes later and Im getting lemon grass, more maltiness [clay like] and is that dried papaya/grapefruit?
T: OBE? - soapy notes gradually move to blackberries with a buttery pastry mouthfeel as it sweetens and softens. The chemical soapy notes remind me of many a disappointing Bladnoch but one feels its desperate to flourish. Cocoa notes show after time, later moving to an aniseed=cherry-cola
F: Many more blackberries and raspberry chocolate but that off-key [soapy/grapefruit] distillate annoyingly keeps knocking. More vanillas creep in after a while.
C: A malt that seems desperate to please but can’t get away from itself. Time and water didn’t change a thing. Don’t spend too much on these miniatures.

    Scores an N
