Nose: Fresh, tart herbs, maggie spiciness, stable odor, sea salt and lots of smoke (a bit similar to the 12y dumpy, but much rounder and more harmonious). Fresh sliced lime (green-fruity), smoky-sweet balsamic cream with black pepper and fragrant hay.
Taste: Old roof truss and old leather, tart herbs, spicy and very salty with anchovies, olives, maritime peat and campfire on the beach. In addition, green and fresh aromas of grapefruit and limes - an interplay of fresh sweet on dry, very balanced and provided with the finest leather notes.
Finish: Medium to long - becoming smoother. Again fresh limes, honeydew melon and peaty smoked ham. Towards the end with honey-enriched peppermint tea and old paper.
Note: freshness plays here with a long bottle storage - not very powerful, but great!
