A beautiful change from a sweet and satisfying "girl whisky" of the first nose over the drier notes in the mouth to the bitter but bitter impressions on the finish.

    Was a blind sample
    • Nose
warm-creamy and wonderfully sweet caramel (this warm feeling I have very often with CS, the Alk. is inconspicuous but I'm sure that has more percentages, viell. so from 55%); definitely sherry; behind it are red, sweet apples and a hint of sour blackcurrants; To discover more, he probably needs some time ..... yellow apples are added, they stay juicy and sweet; a small trace of menthol could be there; a few ground almonds and Brazil nuts; a delicate hint of malt ..... after a lot of time and a little sip or two, come here also a few tart kräutrige notes; that sweet caramel is more and more in the background
    • Taste
immediately spicy and nutty; yes, I think that has more percent, but not unpleasant or alk. sharp; not as sweet as in the nose; Malt; slightly sour with some blackcurrants and blackberries; the red apples and the caramel are also there; some wood; slightly bitter, after star fruit; with some time, the spice goes and it makes a delicate creaminess noticeable
    • Finish
go as he tastes; stays pretty long with its bitterness and a dark fruity mix on the tongue; damp, old wood; So no longer has anything to do with the tremendous sweetness of the initial nose, no, more bitter, some bitter herbs still

It was brilliant. At the Limburger Whisky fair I was able to get hold of the last broken bottle, all the others were already sold out. Full dark berry fruit, syrup, sweet sherry and Christmas spices with tobacco and cocoa
