    I love this malt.
I always give it to him, give him a little water and let him stand for at least 15 minutes. So here too. So it unfolds to a complex grenade!
    • Nose
Banana bread, overripe mango, sweet orange, vanilla, tobacco and oak, cotton candy, it smells oily and creamy, with the addition of candies
    • Taste
Oily and creamy as advertised, thick sweet grape must, yellow fruits, here dominated the sauternesfass so much that even the oak has problems to flash over
    • Finish
You can not beat age. The boy is ripe. This is the first thing when I swallowed by the head. The oiliness and creaminess stick nicely. Here comes also beautiful oak, but very pleasant. Add grapes, grape grapes!

[February, 2016]  Together with friends I emptied a bottle that I bought for 95 Euro in December, 2015.In my old rating system (ten scales that translate into WB points: 50 - 66 - 75 - 80 - 82,5 - 85 - 87,5 - 90 - 92,5 - 95) I scored it 90.  My notes state a very sweet fruity and honeyed profile with great sweet wine aromas that is dangerously quaffable.  Actually it is a double maturation as it matured in a bourbon cask before it was filled into Sauternes barriques in February, 2006.

the influence of the Sauternes cask is sensational! so much sweetness in there, incredible. does get better the more time you give this dram to breathe.
