    Following the reviews decided to buy a bottle, and it exceeded my expectations!
    • Nose
      80 80
      Mainly lots of salt and peat in a pungent alcohol odor.
    • Taste
      89 89
      Oil thick. Peat smoke and alcohol are very dominant, but after adding a few drops of water, the taste becomes much wider. Spicy. Still a lot of smoke, but also sweet, sour grape, apple, pepper. Perfect whisky to drink by the fire on a cold winter evening!
    • Finish
      88 88
      Smoke and sweet remain the longest, with some acid on the tongue.

    The play with the water makes it - neither pure nor diluted, I find the "special", there is the standard 10 's a solid bench against, but the differences or changes are exciting, I would have drumming around there for an hour and expirementieren can.
    • Nose
      quite spicy, the smoke is cooler, drier, more medicated than the standard 10er, there could be some salt & lemon, + water: is a bit "cuddly" in the nose, sharpness down, warmer, sweeter, a touch mushy Apples, old spruce board, some dry paint
    • Taste
      pure: not at all so hot, intense bitter chocolate, in the smoke is almost submerged, + water: the smoke comes from the chocolate, oily, dirty, old workshop cloth, chocolate is lighter, on the palate a touch plum jam / sugar beet syrup Supplement: if I take only a very small drop on my tongue, it is completely different - lime with burnt sugar, cotton candy, literally evaporates on the tongue - fascinating
    • Finish
      pure: long with smoke-dark chocolate and pepper, thinner shorter and more milk chocolate, in the droplet variant, it almost reminds of Caipi

    • Nose
      pleasant campfire smoke, some iodine and algae, slightly stinging alcohol, honey sweetness behind, a thought of warm apple compote, some pepper and citrus fruit.
    • Taste
      sweet, fruity, full-bodied, smoky, warming, a thought of motor oil, again apples and a hint of plum.
    • Finish
      medium long, warming, some black pepper, camp fire smoke, with dark chocolate

    Interesting that the Caol Ila barrel leaves a clear mark, it can please and looks ripe. Unfortunately, the Edradour / Ballechin character was left behind a bit. But he is still there. A nice mix that is fun.

      a little alcohol, phenolic smoke, vanilla, a few citrus notes, a bit malty, fresh mint
    • Taste
      Here, too, you notice something the alcohol, but then the phenolic smoke, fresh mint with custard and this citrus, the Caol Ila barrel is to remember. A touch of oak is noticeable as it passes into the finish
    • Finish
      Long finish with some malting notes and oak, the smoke continues to float on the palate
