5 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 86.13 points
- Elegant Mortlach, who despite the higher age still nicely shows the Brennereicharakter.
Fresh and herbal. Grass and mild herbs. The alcohol cools something in the nose, reminiscent of menthol. Only gets sweeter very slowly and shows a little vanilla.
Creamy consistency. Well integrated alcohol. Light, slightly sourish dough. Fine fruit notes with a little peach and currant.
Fine-sour coffee. Medium.
- Unfortunately, the finish is a tick too sour. 83 points
n the nose significantly fruity and citrus-heavy than the AI. Freshly cut grass and floral notes. The alcohol is barely perceptible in the nose.
Very creamy in the taste. Again, the alcohol is barely noticeable. Bread dough with lemons and a hint of toffee.
The finish is fruity and medium length.
