According to the figure of the bottom of this miniature, this Old Taylor should have been bottled in 1970. So the distillate is from National Distiller's “Castle” distillery (DSP-KY-19).

Nose

Dusty nose of gentle vanilla and old paper. Lots of custard. Marzipan. Nougat. Some almond nuts.

Taste

Buttered toast. Molasses. Maple syrup. Corn muffins. Hints of peach and apricot. Unfortunately it's all quite weak.

Finish

Very short. Cinnamon. A little white pepper. Honey. Probably too much OBE.
