The right stuff! Immediately full of raisin bread, plum-chocolate sauce, and liquid oak – it is then morphing into nutmeg, cinnamon, and sweet herbal tea (with a spoon too much honey!). All-in-all a classic Glendronach nose. Associations of dusty parchment and soy sauce funk. Crema di balsamico on After Eights!
Continues where the nose left off. Dark Black forest fruits, espresso, and high-cocoa chocolate transform into a very oak-forward mouth feel. The entire thing is quite herbal,
mentholated, and less sweet than the nose suggests. Having a hard time disentangling this from other great oloroso casks I’ve had.
Medium-long. Mildly bitter with fudge and licorice.
