- The smoke is practically not noticeable in the smell. Rather licorice, orange peel and vanilla rolls. The taste is quite different from the aroma and especially at the beginning it is very acidic. Some citrus, a hint of salinity. Also slightly plastic aftertaste. Gradually, a slight sweetness also appears. The finish is rather drier and quite long. Seaweed, citrus peel and cumin. In my opinion, it's definitely not worth the money.

- Absolute class. Awesome mix of peated bourbon and sherry casks. I think it's a really great dram with a high price-quality ratio. Full flavours and integrated smoke.
- On the nose there's citrus tobacco, honey roast nuts, salted caramel and ash. On the palate it's a little thin but very smooth and integrated, with some added peaches and cream sitting underneath the citrus smoke and olive brine, which then builds into a surprisingly long and satisfying finish.
- A really good malt. I liked it.
However, a bit too expensive. When I consider what a Lagavulin DE costs. They are not that dissimilar either. I would prefer to take almost two Laga DEs.
