Nose: Thin, sweet and slightly musty nose with a hint of honey and apple aromas. Clouds of smoke (but not particularly peaty) run through the glass, along with coal dust, soot and a delicate floral touch in combination with sweet lemon juice. All in all, discreet.
Taste: Sweet, salty, strongly spicy and now with full peat content in the smoke. Vanilla, tar, sweet apple pieces, malt, lemons, cotton candy and musty clay.
Finish: Medium long - with strong sweet peat, honey, syrup, smoke, charcoal, ash and again with these sweet floral aromas.
Comment: For us again a little too sweet Ardbeg - especially in the finish!
