Sweet, fruity, I caught salty bacon.
Sweetish but not sweet enough for the classic Speyside. Oily. Notes of hay. There is bitterness and pungency of Highlander, a classic duchess with a touch of the very rubber from the lemonade cork.
Not very long, light, with light sweetness and medical rubber.
Sweet, pear, some apples. But there is also a candy note. Little hint of tropical fruit and some hay. It is rather delicate tough.
Sweet, caramel, quite some tropical notes, vanilla and other clear bourboncask influences. Again the typical hay notes on the background
Oily and creamy
Medium length. Again the tropical fruitiness and the obvious bourbon influences.
The current €120,- is quite oke.
Don't know this was a sample.
Sweet, light pear and apple. Vanilla pudding, citrus, orange and a little peach.
Vanilla pudding, pear, peach, apple peel. A little caramel and a whiff of smoke. It's quite agressive in the mouth despite the sweetness and not so high ABV (for a cask strength), so a splash of water doesn't do harm. That releases quite some honey.
Pear, vanilla pudding, strawberry, peach, caramel and smoke.
