Lemon, sweet lime, white apple, vanilla pudding, sugar sirup, lemon meringue
green apple, sour jelly worms, lemon, spicyness, pepper
apple, red fruits, spices, a touch of mint, a hin of cinamon, lemon tarte
- A whisky with a very strong character with all the properties that one could wish for at a tasting. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but to discover something of everything. One of the best among the 15s.
Roasted aromas over salted nuts with grassy floral notes with a hint of mint. A very balanced vanilla nose and slowly fading into citrus notes. Very fine.
A very strong mouthfeel. The pepper plays the main role and distributes sweet malty notes. At the same time it keeps what the nose promises with a floral feeling.
Medium to long and quite peppery, very pleasant.
- Another Bourboncask Speysider that does everything right, but is so one-dimensional citrusy, that I would be the second Dram too boring - yes, the malt is nothing.
yellow apple, pear, sweet vanilla sauce, freshly peeled green rind, sweet roasted cereal with a touch of popcorn, wood dust, bay leaf, a touch of juniper fresh from the bush, freshly cut grass, beautiful floral with hints of nectar
mild and sweet, slightly syrupy, citrusy, slightly sourish, citrus oil and bitterness of lime peel, quite creamy with vanilla and delicate oak, alternating with each other when chewing
it citrus citrus and delicate barrel spice in the mouth, this is also maintained for a long time, in the course of the departure, he is briefly a little peppery and then dry and goes into warming freshness / coolness (mint). stays good and shows no weaknesses
- Another sunday morning breakfast tipple? Remind me a lot of AnCnoc, but with a little more spice at the finish.
Empty glass have a deliciouse smell of Daim bar and almond cake.
Extremely fresh and fruity. Lots of dandelions. Sweet citrus, yellow apple, mango and pear sirup.
Sweet, but not as sweet as the nose. Of the fruits I find the mango to shine through. Goes nutty about half way. Mildly spicy.
Nutty, spicy, with sweet cinnamon.
