I would say the part has a good touch of a fruit brandy the only nice thing was the nose
    • Nose
light smoke, butter biscuits, nutty, fruit flavored dough
      sliced yellow plum, myrtle
      some fall, honeymet, slightly spicy
    • Taste
      nutty, spicy
      slight alcohol on the palate
then the fruits come and wood forms on the palate nutty
the aromas are a bit diluted
    • Finish
Wood, bitter, dark chocolate and some baked apple juice

Then the WMD II Yellow Submarine first bottling
The only difference between them is the title on the tin,
If anything, this should be the 1nd issue, but in fact all two are named wrong according to the naming convention. These should be named by vintage with the WMD as bottling series.
As for the barcode, it is always registered as a continuous 12 digit number.

very tasty. I did not notice much of the red wine. For a great story about the WMDs

  6. Tom na Gruagaich scored this whisky 80 points Connoisseur

OK, but more story than content.
    • Nose
I find it difficult in the nose, shy, very reserved, some fruit, something old-fashioned, mint and a few bouillon cubes.
    • Taste
sparkling, fruity, with some white pepper, fruit and a hint of vanilla at the end
    • Finish
The finish is a bit peppery, tart and prickly, with time a few aspirin and still a nice sweetness.

A really nice drinking whisky, whose great nose is unfortunately not quite reached taste. Nevertheless, a good malt, whose background, however, prices have exploded. For around 250 € the bottles are likely to be traded today, this is purely flavorful but definitely not worth it.
    • Nose
Noticeable fruit and light smoke, for today's bottlings that would be rather atypical. Pears, apples and a little honeydew melon. Discreet in the background light oak and spicy herbal notes, which, however, rise in the ostensible Fruchtmuß.
    • Taste
Strong start, but surprisingly sweet. Light citrus notes and sweet fruit notes characterize the picture, before the light herbaceous notes appear on the screen. The flavors are generally very inhibited. As if a thick dust cover were on the individual components, which one must first remove. In any case, in the nose clearly more concise, albeit on the whole very pleasant. Definitely not one of the "oak boards" of the time that kill you with tannins.
    • Finish
Medium length, characterized by herbal notes, oak and some honey. No bitterness, but slightly astringent. Could be a bit stronger for my taste, but rather soft. The smoke here is only very noticeable.

[January, 2011]  I had this dram during a Jim McEwan tasting at Godesburg.

    In my old rating system (ten scales that translate into WB points: 50 - 66 - 75 - 80 - 82,5 - 85 - 87,5 - 90 - 92,5 - 95) I scored it 75.  Unfortunately my detailed notes were lost but I remember it as unbalanced and full of flaws.

So if you ignore all the marketing blah-blah and only evaluated the product, I find this Bruichladdich very successful. As previous speakers have already written, a fruity, slightly smokey Bruichladdich. 14 years and still limited. That's screaming for lunar prices. Value he would be today between 70-80 € But the story is so beautiful.

Very nice nose, unfortunately the tongue does not quite come along. I do not really like the metallic-berry note on the finish.
    • Nose
First very light smoke, then a lot of sweet and light fruit, malt, cereals, a little mint (After Eight). Syrup sauce, pleasant and mouthwatering. Lots of vanilla and fudge, slightly alcoholic.
    • Taste
First thinner than the nose. Some light fruit, again a touch of smoke. Vanilla, again slightly alcoholic, but not pungent. Rather fruit brandy notes. Something metallic.
    • Finish
Mitel long. Fruit notes, slightly metallic. Somehow not quite round.
