Whisky Reviews for Penderyn Sherrywood

- Medium-quality moths with a noticeable sherry influence (and perhaps bourbon barrels have been here, there is something in the fragrance), the taste is spoiled by burnt plastic, the aroma with a strange herbal dominant, and so normal.
Open, fresh, some greens (rosemary, thyme ???), anise, medical mixer notes, moldy pickled cucumbers, herbal tincture, cabbage, raw grain, cooled porridge, wet cardboard, a little dried fruit.
Slightly bitter, slightly astringent, dried fruits, light peppery wave, burnt biscuits, vegetable oil, leavard, dominated by a burnt note with an admixture of plastic, generally shallow and flat.
Drier than taste, but with the same ingredients, spicy, spices, orange peel, dried fruits.
- Tasted in an online blind tasting competition (Westland vs. Penderyn) on 8/10/2016.
A bit rubbery (rubber bands), vanilla, green apples.
First thought: weird! Pingponging between a bananayoghurt-like plasticness (I said it was weird) and nuts. Yellow raisins. A bit vile, sulphury. Prickly at the tip and sides of the tongue.
Lingering candy banana sweetness, some anise, yellow raisins.
Citrus, sherry, blurred sweetness, alcohol. Lightly some flowers / herbs
Marzipan, grep, herbs, mint, spices
Spices, bitter chocolate, light sherry traces, citrus. Nakoc looks bitter - medium-long
