He has the problem of so many finishes, he seems only at the beginning well integrated, as well as durability and heat make the portnotes in the nose seem a bit set up. In the mouth, the picture is amazingly harmonious for such a young malt and also the finish fits. He also tolerated a splash of water. A beautiful, nippy young smoker, more for direct enjoyment than for longer employment.
    • Nose
Red fruit compote and campfire right at the front, looks creamy, a few alcoholic tips. Life increases the smoke, the fruit is not much left, but now a little acetone, iodine and behind a fog floats disinfectant, the smoke is more medicinal. It seems a shot of brandy has been added. Cooked strawberries are warmed up, the smoke loses the phenols and reminds us of charcoal. Some perfume is above it, spoiled fruit can also be found.
    • Taste
In the mouth, sweet fruit cream first, then it appears powerful, but remains soft, some black pepper and a creamy mouthfeel, plus smoke and sweet toffee. Fruit acid, reminiscent of mashed berries on the palate, ends with an idea of tannins.
    • Finish
The finish is quite long and is accompanied by a cherry juice note, it stays sweet and creamy until at the end sweetish ash remains on the tongue. The tannins have no chance here. He also warms up for a long time.

Joa quite interesting. I liked the nose the most, especially those associations with the ham chips. Water is good for him. Nevertheless, no bad dram, especially on a rainy day quite the right companion. (with eight drops of water)
    • Nose
A little alcohol. Then incredibly complex. First, a strawberry / forest berry sweet. With the second nose, ham chips immediately hit the head. So salt, ham and somehow more. Also light sherry and smoky notes towards the end. But above all a great combination of ham and salt. And again and again these ham chips (snack snacks are called that I think)
    • Taste
The sherry influence is clearly noticeable. Also a certain Pfeffrigkeit on the tongue. Not so cute anymore. Strawberries are still present as well as cherries. From the ham chips is nothing to feel. The sherry spreads something in the mouth. The smoke recedes and the fruit is more prominent.
    • Finish
Reminds me in the finish something to a Talisker. For a long time I would say. Although the spiciness and pepperiness are still noticeable. Just as easy the sherry notes as well as a dryness and dark fruits. Add dark chocolate and a little sweet coffee.

    • Nose
In the first nose an incredibly tasty sweetie. Caramel syrup. Molasses. Vanilla. The smoke (not phenolic) is perfectly integrated. Associations with vanilla cigarillos or flavored pipe tobacco. Red fruits. Pickled raisins. Behind it spicy notes. Pepper. Ginger.
    • Taste
Sweet start. Honey. Caramels. Becoming oily. Iodized salt. Cold ash. Pepper. A trace of oak.
    • Finish
Medium. Once again flash the sweet flavors. Drying. The feeling like a good cigar in the whole mouth.
