- Less peaty than the 2005 edition, which allows for an even bigger influence of the bourbon barrels. Apart from that their profiles are very similar.
Vanilla, apple, caramel, green banana, malt sugar, grass and a whiff of smoke. More apple when adding water.
Apple, smoke, vanilla, citrus, grass and tobacco. With water: More vanilla, less smoke.
Vanilla, apple, smoke, malt and banana.
- Difficult, for which I really needed 4cl, parallel with and without water, dripped, several times Notes written and deleted again. Pure, he likes me now, with water, I can not get anything out. But he would not be a € 60 candidate for me. Is that good or not, can you recommend it? ... I do not know, that's not how I'm going to get it. But it is often the case with HP and me. ;-)
Honey, vanilla, nice bourbon sweets, also has sugared biscuits, a slightly bitter touch - lime and 10-year-old dry herbaceous herbs (rather leave water out, does not make it any nicer)
strong crispy-sweet, sugary, neat pepper, then dark chocolate (you should abkännen the 57.9%, even here brings thinning little, tickling a little pineapple out, but then he is again too watery and is somehow bitter)
long and peppery, and a neat bittersweet, most likely coffee ... but there's another pinch of pineapple
- Stunningly good
- A tasty drop. For a young Highland Park the smoke is very discreet
Malty sweet, fruity, hay, pear
Spicy, caramel, light smoke, pear
