Very mature malt, and an interesting nose that lets you guess what to expect in the taste. However in the end there is too much oak and bitterness for me to reach out for a bottle of this. Thanks for the sample to Michael H!

  3. Drk Neknul scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

A wonderfully strong color, like old, heavy cognac ... overall good substance with great, fruity-vinous nose. In the taste a little bit oak, whose bittern notes also the French wine barrel in 7 years two-ripen not completely withdraw. Rest in peace, Hoppy!
