Taste: Indeed, very high in the alcohol. Furthermore, this is sweet as cream butter babblers, but there is also a clear sherry taste. Seems to have a little Tamdhu influences. It is sweet and savory from the sherry. It is only superficial. With water: It is all a bit milder, but the idea remains the same
Body: Full and greasy
Finish: Medium length. Pretty abrupt ending actually. Pulls away somewhat bitterly. With water it becomes more and more a sherry bomb explosion and the finish is also a bit longer. But still it collapses a bit.
Comment: Fine stuff. Bit of a deviant grain. If this had been blind, you would encounter everything in terms of distilleries (bunna, glenfarclas, blair athol, tamdhu etc) And in terms of age you could also get everything between 8 and 40 years, but I do not think people would go for a grain. All in all a great juice with good sherry influences 88 points.
