- Official notes:
The color in the glass is deceptive here, because the straw yellow of this Mortlach could bring some to the idea that he was still young, but far from it. - here is just a NATURAL COLOR
Nose: Butterscotch and citrus notes are in the foreground, somewhat reminiscent of lemon cake, fine floral notes behind, very mature and elegant, clear Mortlach style
Palate: beautiful texture, slim and elegant, shows its full variety only after a few seconds in the mouth, very rounded.
You will find notes of milk chocolate, citrus notes, orange zest, surrounded by a fine woody note.
The malty sweetness comes through only slightly, but the citrus notes outweighed with some vanilla and creme brulee.
Overall, very nice, Bourboncask embossed structure.
My associations: H-milk, vanillin pudding with fresh vegetables (cucumber, celery, lemon balm), white chocolate, dried ginger.
