Whisky Reviews for Talisker 10-year-old
3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 86.80 points
- Excellent entry level malt. I enjoyed it all the way from nose, palate until finish. Good and affordable stuff!
smell of fresh oyster, iodine, salt seawater, citrus, peat-smoke, salt
explosion of pepper, warm and intense, clouds of smoke, slightly bitter, dried fruit with sweet touch
long, warm peppery finish with sweet softness
- The standard whisky of Talisker. What can you say just good and expressive and a great PLV.
Butter biscuits and caramel are first to be noticed, later iodine is added and above all lies smoke, but not too strong that the smoke covers everything
Sweetness at first clearly, then comes immediately a proper Pfeffrigkeit, a trace of caramel is tastable and naturally salt
Very long, sharpness and pepperiness and a pinch of salt. Warms neat palate and neck
