Bottler: Five Lions
Aging: Bourbon barrel (hogshead, second fill)
Region: Highlands, Scotland Nose: Fruity and very sweet, smells slightly sticky. Tree resin, vanilla and fir, also a lot of moist wood. Grapefruits are included, including oranges. After a while, herbs, heather and eucalyptus will appear. Palate: In the mouth immediately very strong and engaging, much spicier than the nose. Pfeffrigig, slightly spicy and various culinary herbs. There is not much left of the fruit, it combines a little with vanilla and mint. Finish: Long and spicy, pungency and menthol. Conclusion: Interesting and good, unfortunately not many Teaninich can be found on the market. 85/100 points (tasted 2015 - available on subscription at FL)
I thank Five Lions for the rehearsal!
