sometimes no typical "Germanic" whisky, getting used to, but interesting Edit: Nachverkostung 3 weeks later - smell fits, the taste comes penetranter, the bitterness more chemical, this solvent, the finish is not for delicate minds, bitter and Lackiererei. I do not like distilling a distillery, and considering the few descriptions so far, I have a bit of a bad conscience writing this, but the 3 threelands I've tried (2x) have been (compared to several other DA-CH whiskys ) THE shot in the oven. Is it up to me, is it the whisky? No idea, but I think I am otherwise fair and very open to "other", interesting and funky whisky. But Threeland and I will not be friends for now.
undiluted: relatively pleasant, non-biting adhesive note, some raisins and roasted aromas, with water: lemon, lime, grapes, gummy bears, raisins, rusks
surprisingly soft, bittersweet, walnut, with some water comes out nice grape nut chocolate, but also slightly chemically-artificially acting Obstler and Grappa notes
slightly bitter citrus notes, chocolate
