  1. Joschbert scored this whisky 88 points Expert Senior

Solid Ben Nevis with great sherry influence. Not as complex as the nose promises on the palate. But still tasty.
    (Sample by ArPeJa)
    • Nose
      89 89
Sweet vinous notes like Muscat. Overripe peach, blueberries and orange. Behind it meat broth.
    • Taste
      86 86
In the beginning a bit spicy. Sweet sweet nutty sherry at first, but will dry quickly and slightly bitter slightly acidic oak takes over the upper hand.
    • Finish
      88 88
In the finish comes nutty sherry forward and the bitterness sounds.

Several months after the first tasting.
Nose is still great (Campino candy), but taste and finish are not as strong as the first time.

  6. ColdAesthetics scored this whisky 83 points Connoisseur

Somehow not really round, clearly too much citrus.
    • Nose
Fresh grass, full, light fruits, mild and honey, chocolate (white), lots of citrus
    • Taste
Werter's Original, fresh, red and green apple, grass with vieeel citrus still, fresh oak, light berries
    • Finish
      Medium, apple, dry elegant, toffee

  9. Albaron scored this whisky 83 points Specialist

Interesting whisky. Can be quite exciting, a bit hot, but not too much.
    • Nose
light alcohol comes in, sherry with herbs, maggi, then citrus, some toffee, sweet
    • Taste
Sherry, also the herbs, then toffee and malt, sweet, a few dried fruit, mostly raisins, some black tea
    • Finish
The seasoning and herbs as well as some oak comes in the end

  10. Cicero did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

in the aroma, the sherry is incredibly full
the taste outweighs the oak barrel
    • Nose
for "only" a finish of amazingly strong sherry on the go
      Toffee and caramel sweets
      Chocolate and dark fruits
Raisins, berries, cherries and plum compote
      dusty chocolate
    • Taste
fruity, but quite soon the spice takes over
      Milk chocolate followed by espresso
      Sweet and then drier
    • Finish
      Caramel and oak
