"Special feature: No information. It is interesting, however, that the labels state Distilled I984, Bottled: I996, but the bottling code printed on the bottle specifies 2015 as the year of bottling with L15. Where was the whisky in the meantime? Lombard Scotch Whisky or Lombard Brands Ltd. was founded in the 1960s when whisky stocks began to be stocked in the distilleries to hold, mature, and fill their own stocks. "
Little after grapes and lemon. But also a sherry butt in old school style? Slightly earthy but also fruity. Very interesting and I like it very much. Has a strong but fine and well balanced smell for 40%. But open a day now ... Machine oil like the old haigs and dimples.
It doesn't really continue in taste. Lemon and ginger and something floral. Is a bit weak but well suited for an opener. No off notes. But I didn't expect it either. It gets better when a little bit. Interesting note comes through, really some machine oil. now after a couple of weeks it is even more complex and even relatively full in taste despite its 40%. even a few notes come through more and more. So I have to correct it upwards again.
There comes fruit and a beautiful wood. Delicious
