Nose: Really beautiful fruit flavors pour from the glass: oranges, grapefruit and melons, a little mango. Also meadow herbs, hay and malt. Cocoa butter, mild oak, honey and milk chocolate resonate in the background. Very round and harmonious.
Palate: creamy, creamy and again very fruity. Mandarins, apricots and melon, the fruits are removed drier (note of dates in the background). In addition, honey and sugar beet syrup spread, but more tasty and less sweet.
Finish: Long and dry, very clear. Again with the creamy character, oak, a hint of cinnamon and fruity sweetness. Towards the end with dry oak and nutmeg.
Conclusion: I had some really good Ben Nevis from the sherry keg in the glass, here's a bourbon keg - and a really nice on top of that.
88/100 points (tasted 2015) I thank Five Lions for the rehearsal!
