    • Nose
Clear but sweet smoke. Vanilla. Honey. Somewhat salty later. And then comes through the beautiful citrus fruit.
    • Taste
First of all, strawberries. Then a good portion of pepper. The smoke is much ashier and dirtier on the tongue than in the nose. At first less sweet.
    • Finish
Long. Here again sweet and smoky.

wow - delicious PLV is the hammer at the malt
    • Nose
light smoke with a lot of vanilla, cloves, cinnamon, malt, fine and delicious oak notes - fresh acidity, a little mint, banana - very clean no notes
    • Taste
strong oak, sweet with beautiful barrel acidity, roasted aromas, light smoke, mint, vanilla, some grass, well integrated alcohol
    • Finish
spicy, prickling, roasted cereal, some licorice, vanilla

Surprisingly similar to Ardbeg Uigedail, and that's definitely a compliment !

  8. Ivynor scored this whisky 83 points Expert Senior

A nice whisky, still a little young, with a peat noticeably different from Islay.
    • Nose
Peat, cough syrup, quite sweet, a little wood, ashes and earth. Youthful
    • Taste
Creamy enough, easy, but rather short and a little too diluted. Notes of lemon, icing sugar, peat. Always peat and ash.
    • Finish
      Pretty short, ashen.

The nose is smoky with notes of green wood. A peat that reminds some young Ledaig. The mouth is sweet, we find this vegetable peat with earthy notes. Final of medium length on the peat which vanishes to give way to cold ashes. Rather a good daily dram but lacks a bit of power.

straw color, well peated nose, slightly vanilla, lemony, with an earthy, ashen side. Mouth quite sweet, peaty, vanilla, a little sweet, lacking in magnitude to 46%, but easy enough to drink. Final a little short, where we feel the dilution, on peat, ash, vanilla.
