the one I tasted was dated back to 1974. Strange enough no peaty side was revealed. Good whisky nontheless.
    • Nose
Rich, malty, honey, wax, very complex nose.
Rich herbal spices. With more time more sweetness comes to front - fruit, nuts, raisins.
    • Taste
Nice body - oily, dryness, pepper and cardamom. Also the malty sweetness.
    • Finish
      Long.

Tasty blend, pleasant smell, taste is sweet and soft and yet also character. Only the finish remains somewhat behind in intensity.
    • Nose
Sweet and fruity, honey, raisins, orange, wax, also spicy, cinnamon or the like. Soft and pleasant.
    • Taste
Oily structure, sweet, honey. also slightly bitter, grapefruit. Spice again, cinnamon and pepper. Also slightly caramel.
    • Finish
Very light peppers now, sweet, honey, also some bitter, the grapefruit. Mid-length.

One of the main malts in this will be Craigellachie, another is Glen Elgin.

It`s ok but the bitterness detracts from the overall profile.
    • Nose
Honey, waxy & biscuit, more power than other White Horse on the nose, reasonably potent.

      Cola cubes, candied fruit.
    • Taste
Quite sharp initially and a little bitter with notes of honey and melted butter.

There is a little kiwi fruit, grapefruit and dried peels
    • Finish
Not too long on honeyed bitterness.
