Whisky Reviews for Glenfiddich 15-year-old CS
3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 86.80 points
- To be fair, I tried "one of those" bottle-your-own Glenfiddichs, maybe not this particular batch. But generally speaking, many are similar in style and though I don't recall the price, it was probably the best Fiddich I have had as of yet. Cask strength and good oak selection made this a fun one. Not a complexity monster, but overall very well done. A bottling to look out for when visiting Speyside.
- Tasted at the distillery, June 13, 2015, before purchase.
Complex and sweet with notes of apricot, peach, orange, fruit cake, caramel, fudge, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and oak.
Warm and silky with notes of apricot, orange, citrus, chocolate, marzipan, sherry, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and oak.
Long and sweet with notes of citrus, vanilla, a little sherry, ginger, nutmeg and dry oak.
