Nose: Typical Bunnahabhain. Dry sweetness, sea salt and mineral aromas. In addition old caramel, vanilla tones and some soot, hard coal. Woody aromas are also there, smoker, malt and bitter caramel float out of the glass.
Palate: Creamy vanilla cream, heather honey and a fresh peat smoke note. Cocoa, seaweed and dried cod. Afterwards, the aroma of very mild milk coffee and a touch of tobacco comes along.
Finish: Long and still refreshing. Slightly creamy, becomes much drier towards the end, then the oak comes out tingling. Before, sweetened milk coffee and a touch of cool mint are shown again.
Conclusion: Typical Bunnahabhain, refreshing and round. A hint of peat smoke flashes on the palate, a beautiful single malt.
