- BRUICHLADDICH 21yo / 43% OB Ripe apple, apricot, slightly tropical, resinous oak, scent feels like tea Dry impression to apple, bitter taste of citrus skin, firm woody, overall soft taste Finish with light fruits and black tea taste and oak woody gently. A little older Bruiklady 21 years. At the beginning of opening, it was quite difficult to feel dusty and muffled feeling From the middle of the bottle, the fragrance and taste of the sweet fruit firmly came out firmly. Gentle thought to come from aging for 21 years, clearly woody and well-balanced. Although Islay hardly feels Pete, there is a mystery that there is a slightly tropical nuance. In recent years it is an attractive one that is not felt by bottling, a gentle alcoholic feel and good balance. http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/distilled1973/40819020.html
- Very good old Bruichladdich bottling.
Mellow, fresh and quite similar to the 10 and 17 year old standards from the same time period. Grassy and grainy, caramel and a little peat.
Smooth, light and clean, even a little bit dry and austere. This one has more peat than the 10 yo and the 17 yo that I tasted before. Pepper and a little ginger, sourdough, old bottle flavor - very nice indeed.
Long with a spicy, gingery and peppery finish.
