    a delicious, simple Ardmore, perfect for summer barbecue. In addition a fruity IPA. With water then in the morning after the rest for breakfast.
    • Nose
      Pure: great maritime notes, rather mild smoky, blind I would have typed quickly on Caol Ila. Lots of salt, then pear and apple and peach. Too fruity for an islayer. With water: more barrel flavors, vanilla and caramel and white pepper, some quince schnapps.
    • Taste
      Pure: strong, not too spicy, very sweet onset. Popcorn, cotton candy, custard. Too finely spicy, some caraway and salt. The smoke is pleasant but present. With water: light teenote, oatmeal with honey. Breakfast whisky?
    • Finish
      Mitellang, pork steak, crispy grilled.

    SMWS note:

    aromas of bacon cracklings in the pan, a warm sponge cake and freshly smoked mackerels awaited us , The taste was cozy; a warm peat fire, sweet apple strudel and traditional scotch pancakes. Water released aromas of woolly jumpers being dried by the fire and for lunch grilled sea bream with bouillabaisse sauce and mussels were being prepared. Sweet flavors dominated the palate; peat smoked iced vegetables, sweet apple sauce and sweet pork cracklings. At the end of an invigorating morning walk on the beach, with the refreshing sensation of cool, salty sea breeze on our face, we enter our cozy cottage, where it smells of breakfast; the fried bacon in the pan, warm sponge cake and freshly smoked mackerel await us. The taste is cozy - a warming peat fire, sweet apple strudel and traditional Scottish pancakes. Water opens up the aromas of a wet wool sweater drying on the log fire and a sea bream with fish sauce and clams prepared for lunch. Sweet notes dominate his taste - smoked rolls, sweet apple sauce and sweet pork crust.
