Not a total review but some quick notes I managed to put on paper while drifting away with this enjoyable dram!

    Aromatic nose not shy here...

Delightfull, all on spices. The profile SMWS gives (Spicy & Sweet) is spot on. It can handle some water to adjust it to your like.
Full oily-like bodied, I love it!

Finish continues on the same level as the nose and taste, and reasonably long for a young one like this!

Interesting and impressive for a young malt. I was searching for something in it's quality to criticize but really couldn’t think of  anything without feel of guilt for lying.....

  2. St. Pauli scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

This appears to be a contradictio in terminis whisky. It's fruity, which is mostly associated with sweetness. Yet it's quite bitter, just within my liking. An interesting experience.
    • Nose
Orchard fruit, honeycomb, pineapple, vanilla, dried peach, eucalyptus, wax and later also a bit of coconut.
    • Taste
Full-bodied, on sweet apples and pineapple, and also honeyed cereals and coriander. Later also becoming spicier with pepper and ginger. The level the tannin is just within boundaries if you ask me.
    • Finish
Drying despite its fruitiness. The fruit is there, along with vanilla, but the pepper, ginger and clove get loud.

    SMWS Tasting Notes
    Colour: Dim candle-light
    Flavour Profile: Spicy & sweet

The aromas neat were an enticing combination of sweet and
fruity aromas. Fresh apples, mangos and bananas as well as cherry limeade,
syrup sponge and creamy peach cranachan lured us to have a taste. We were not
disappointed. Initially lively like Space Dust popping candy and chilli
chocolate, calming down to caramel apple lollipops, foamy bananas and
gooseberry candy with a mouth drying finish of cracked black pepper Ryvita
crisp bread. Water released Peach Melba with sugar roasted doughnuts and
vanilla ice cream sprinkled with a lemon vanilla chilli hot sauce and an ‘El
Floridita’ Hemingway Daiquiri on the side.

    Drinking Tip: Awakening the senses
