- Houuuu what a nose and what a mouth! A venerable old man. But what a pity that this final is so short and that the flavors vanish so quickly in the mouth.
Dried flowers, petrified honey, liquefied caramel. Pistil syrup (does it exist, that?). Fresh mint after aeration. Piouuuu what a nose!
Extreme delicacy and lightness. Honey, young white and yellow fruits, and a light dust.
(very short. A wooded drought, and the fruits die quickly.
- Cadenhead Notes:
Summer 2015 Small Batch a rare vintage from one of the greatest of all speyside distilleries.
Nose Soft and juicy. Peaches, passion fruit, soft lime notes and also kiwi and watermelon. A great age whisky delivering a truly amazing nose.
Palate More juicy fruits. For such a delicate whisky this feels very thick and rich. Olive oil, hints of Sauvignon blanc and lots of syrupy fruits coats the whole palate.
Finish Dried citrus fruits with some soft woodiness. Creaminess grows but mingles with lots of thick tropical fruits. Another amazing rare vintage from our small batch range.
