Edit: I had this malt some time ago in the glass and surprisingly my notes cover the blind tasting with my first notes. In the blind tasting, the piglet gets one point less, so 89.
Blind tasting: Slightly sourish fruity notes become sprightly fast, creating a subtle touch of glue. Sweetness and a touch of vanilla are added, a flavor that is hard to define for me now dominates the nose. The alcohol becomes increasingly intense and a wonderful fruitiness arises.
Fruit and spicy wood immediately dominates the taste. Amazingly, it bizzles and tingles when drinking in the nose. Slight sharpness arises, but is tamed by fine fruit. At the second sip, the blank sample is again intense and voluminous. Spicy wood is displaced by pepper and a pinch of salt. The alcohol is now very dominant, seasoning and sharpness play together. Chilli pepper fires on the palate.
The departure begins dull and harsh. The spicy, tart wood leaves traces on the tongue and on the palate. Short flashes again fruit through the spicy wood tones, then again tart and matte oak tones.
