Begin with light musky fragrant, then nutty aroma, with a litter salty caramel. Then citrus fruits. At 56.6% ABV the alcohol is not strong at all. Then typical saw dust from sherry cask, a little, very little dried prunes. Not complex, but pleasant enough. Good nose. Water did not change the nose much, may be more musk- in a good way.
Have it neat: Quite dry, mostly nutty flavour, not sweet. The heat was there.
With water: Became much rounder and mellow. But also showed brought out a little bitterness, not in an unpleasant way.
This is more a nutty malt then sherry.
Again the heat was there. Simple, may be one dimensional finish.
