Whisky Reviews for Bruichladdich 10-year-old

- Fresh, slightly fruity and above all malty / honey sweet malt. I like it for just 10 years very well.
Hone sweetness that meets fresh and slightly salty sea air. The alcohol can be felt only briefly, before he recedes behind the fresh aroma. Slight fruit note, but not the fully ripe fruits.
Here the fruits become a little clearer, green apples step forward. These will soon be replaced by sweet honey and malt. Where does this extreme sweetness come from, wow ?! Towards the end then slight spiciness and oak, which is also reflected in the finish.
The finish itself surprisingly long, the malt running warm down the throat. As mentioned here again spicy oak, which remains in the mouth for a long time, but without acting bitter.
