My score is for the first edition (700ml, that isn`t on WB yet). Definitely the best of the 18yo series.

What I love about this 18 year old is the smooth and yet very complex

finish. The Scotch is very interesting because it has some spice,

vanilla, smoke, little peat, and at the end kind of a healing factor to

it. This is getting harder to find, so get it while you can, until the

next batch comes out, when ever that will be.

The Talisker was not my favorite at first because I am a Speyside guy, however this has made me appreciate the vast realms of variety that are great out there
    • Nose
Vanilla, oak, some fruit and a touch of salt
    • Taste
buttery, oily at first, then starts to unfold in to cake and pudding pie. malty with hints of the sea
    • Finish
long finish and very pleasant. Let the alcohol burn off and then savor all the work and effort into making this fine scotch

The nose is amazing and refined, taste much like the 10 year but has less lemon and more refined with a body that is long and thick. The finish is incredible and one of the best i have tasted from this region. Price is awful because you cant find it, and it comes in a cardboard box:(
