Intense sherry influence, in the nose fat with dark fruits, wood, a hint of barbecue, nuts, in the mouth, tidy wood with furniture polish, dark fruits, intense, always tart, slightly dry, astringent, crushed espresso beans, slightly fruchiger in the aftertaste, warming , nice part

    • Nose
Heavy, full-bodied. Old raisins, dark rotten wood. Ripe black cherries, juicy oranges, some grapefruit. Figs, dates, a hint of carnations. Wet soil, freshly ground coffee beans, stone oven bread, a hint of vanilla.
    • Taste
Full and oily. Chocolate cake with liquid core. Orange liqueur, a hint of mango. Crepes with cinnamon. Plum jam, dates, raisins, roasted almonds. Candied ginger, some white pepper. Espresso and a hint of rotten wood.

Wow! He really flashed me, class whisky !!!
    • Nose
first sherry, sherry and sherry again. Then raisins and you also notice the alcohol (or is that a peppery note?). Add a little water and let stand for a while ...
Now, 20 minutes later, plums, apricots, raisins, a tart touch towards leather, cloves and cardamom
    • Taste
a small sip and the mouth is full. That stimulates the saliva! Pepper on the tongue tip. Clear oak, dark, tart chocolate! Dark fruit, figs, dates and raisins. But not sweet, rather tart, but pleasant. Strong coffee, again spice
    • Finish
laaaaang! Lots of coffee, pleasantly warm, pleasant dark dark chocolate.

Wow, what a nose. Like his younger brother, the GF is an absolute snoop whisky. The fruity sherry of the nose, the spicy oak of the taste and the fine nutty finish make the GF a taste experience. A dream! I'm excited!
    • Nose
Rich, deep dark amber. Oily and very slowly run the drops of GF after panning back into the glass.

Fine sherry floats in my nose. Immediately the high alcohol content begins to biter in my nose. Sweet and dark fruits flatter my nose. A touch of orange and citrus fruits is in the air. Light vanilla mixes with fine spicy oak. Some espresso aroma comes out behind the sweet and fine sherry. A very subtle adhesive touch arises.
    • Taste
Undiluted explodes at the first sip violent, spicy oak in my mouth! Raisins and dates jump into my face. After adding a little water, the spicy oak becomes more harmonious and smooth. Light dark chocolate mixes with a touch of espresso. Still sweet sherry which brings a fine tart fruit note with it. The spicy oak accompanies the fruity sherry. A fine nut aroma arises.
    • Finish
Once again, the spicy oak dominates the finish. For a long time, the sherry exudes a plump warmth. The sweet fruit turns into a fine bitter taste with a fine espresso note. A pleasant spiciness with a hint of pepper is created. Bitter walnut ends the extremely spicy finish.

A very special sweet-bitter Sherrymalt who excites me especially with his complex - dynamic and exceptionally wide-ranging nose. On the palate, he also knows how to inspire - but does not approach the nose cinema.
    • Nose
sweet, full, oily, thick nose - blueberry tart - very sweet, fine tart with light fruit acid, even the fine fruit flavors and tannins and the typical slightly metallic note of shell and kernels of blueberries stand out clearly. Slightly warmed, fine ripe citrus notes dissolve - only the oils, no acid, plus a touch of anise, geranium leaves, beeswax, tea and later even flower nectar. Then come out ripe cherries, PullMoll, subtle orange oil and tobacco. The nose has such a volume that you do not even need to approach the wheel of the glass properly.
    • Taste
sweet and intense - cherry, blackberry, blueberry jam, tobacco, pepper, orange oil and neat mint, walnut, dark chocolate, roasted almonds and espresso - super smooth and soft in the mouth, not astringent, no dry oak board, no felt wood particles on the tongue - a real full-bodied flatterer - the taste changes in waves between the fruity and the harsh tones - but in the long run get the chocolate espresso notes the upper hand - he is not bitter - he is only full-bodied harsh
    • Finish
Walnut shells, juniper, espresso, nutmeg, even oak spices of the lighter kind
