The alcohol stays in the esophagus It is nice to him, he is not so overwhelmed by Fassaromen.
    • Nose
without water: In contrast to Tomatin 10 years, this one looks sweeter fruitier, pineapple, like TriTop syrup tangerine, some mango, nuts, almonds peaches from the can, creamier, the alcohol is not so intrusive in the nose. But he also needs his time in the glass to develop. The 10 he looks on the other hand brittle and stupid
    • Taste
nice but alcoholic start on the tongue. Lots of light fruit, a lot of graffruits little wood. More sweet on the nose than on the palate. I would have guessed blindly maybe 8 - 10 years. The sweetness of the Bourbon barrel compensates for the dry Oloro barrel again.
    • Finish
      medium

Nose: dry Oloroso note, sweetened date and raisins, walnut schnapps, some alcohol but also full and aromatic, cornflakes with honey

Taste: slightly lighter than the nose and subtly tingling but then full of aromatic with intense sherry sweetness, dry and nutty, damn tasty, long warm finish with a strong Oloroso note, coffee and decent oak.
One of the best Tomatin I ever had in the glass - despite being only "Finish" full of Oloroso character without being too cluttered - just my thing - 88 pts.
    Blind tasting!

a great Sherrymalt, the "toffee / coffee" direction. I like this style and that's a really great malt.
    • Nose
Toffee, coffee, milk chocolate, very creamy, light fruit notes, but only in the background.
    • Taste
the milk coffee is still there, the toffee too, but then comes here but a strong tart note in the game, fresh fruit, with water also some tart oak notes, Methol
    • Finish
Toffee, sherry, slightly vinous, latte coffee, slightly fruity, but still creamy, minimal sulfur, subtle oak notes, with water stronger oak and menthol.

The caramel note is delicious, but apart from fruit and oak, so much of the single cask has not come out.
    • Nose
strong malty at the beginning, also early coffee. Alcohol stings in the nose. Intense caramel sweets, light fruit, spices, oak
    • Taste
immediately bright, sweet fruits, then the expected caramel, neat alcoholic bite but acceptable.
    • Finish
Departure quite long and discreetly bitter with spicy oak and light fruits.
