- This Whisky was sold for 455 € at Whiskyauction in Oct.2016
- Recommended - Caperdonich at its very best.
Starts warming, very sweet like candy-floss, with honey and fruity aromas as well as strong notes of vanilla. The fruitiness includes aromas of cointreau, raspberry sauce and figs. Simply fantastic.
A sweet fruit-bomb at first mouthfeel. Soon a strong minty aroma is coming up, with liquorice, caraway and aniseed. Then the whole taste turns into cough syrup with oaky notes. Superb.
Long, dominated by aromas of cough syrup, spicy and oaky notes.
