  1. Marko_I did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

Hm. I could almost like it ... so not bad at the idea, but seems unfinished, exaggerated, as knitted with a hot needle - wet barrel, little time. Or young barrel strength "pimped" directly with wine. So a nice visitor gag and eye-catcher on the shelf, but no serious € 70 whisky.
    • Nose
when opening the sample bottle is a musty-gammlige fruit note contrary, from the glass then much (unbearable) sweet dark wine, dark chocolate, warm plum and cherry compote, sugar beet syrup ... after a while stone-old dry parsley and basil ... and something pharmacy
    • Taste
fat-sweet, slightly bitter, chocolate and molasses dominate, fruit only slightly (dark berries?) ... then pepper is added ... and herbal liqueur
    • Finish
medium length, dark chocolate, pepper, herbal bitters

  2. Kantenmechaniker scored this whisky 75 points Connoisseur

not special, except exceptionally dyed ...
    • Nose
very little, a touch of caramel, some chocolate, nothing more
    • Taste
drier than expected, spicy, some chocolate and nut
    • Finish
short with nut and dark fruit

Take some bad barrels and put a bucket in ...
I am a bit speechless, what a bad (whisky) ... especially if I see the price !! For less you get a Talisker 10 & Co.
    • Nose
      70 70
Hot, echoes of sherry, iron, slightly artificial
    • Taste
      65 65
      One-dimensional, bitter
    • Finish
      60 60
      Bitter

Solid whisky, due to the really dark color certainly something else in the glass, but over 80 does not get me.
    • Nose
Fresh fruits, alcohol scent, smells like vita malt
    • Taste
Soft and fruity, slightly spicy, relatively tasty
    • Finish
Very short as I think, it remains light fruit in the background

  9. Sleinn nam Ffoh scored this whisky 81 points Expert Senior

I think the drop is fine, overpriced for 70 €, but not so common and / or bad that it is under 80P. deserves.
    • Nose
      80 80
Plums, port, dark cherries, young alcohol, some horse stables in the background, minimal leathery and malty.
    • Taste
      81 81
At first pleasant, sweet, plums and cherries are there, then oaky and dry. The alcohol is slightly unpleasant and out of round, but the aromas are okay
    • Finish
      81 81
Oak and slightly sweet finish with pleasant length, followed by dryness medium to long
