Bottler: Distiller's Art
Aging: sherry barrel (Butt)
Region: Speyside, Scotland Nose: Fruity and summery, fruit tree blossoms, apples and pears, delicate woods. Behind it appear milk cream and milk chocolate, a little bit of solid honey and mild malt sugar.
Palate: First very sweet with cotton candy, apple compote and cigar tobacco, then oak, leather, low-acid espresso, cocoa and caramel. The single malt occupies the whole mouth.
Finish: Medium long, lots of chocolate, in between always sweet fruit - but the focus is on chocolate in various nuances.
Conclusion: I have never had so much chocolate in the finish, the whisky will be remembered for a long time!
