Amber and caramel shine brightly in the glass. Dried fruits stand out from the premium snifter, creamy hazelnuts blend with oranges and apples, honey drips on dried herbs and spices. Now and then, the alcohol content in the form of a pleasant tickling in the nose, otherwise the nose appears relatively harmonious and creamy. Slightly grassy floral notes appear, minimal roast aromas rise from the nutty and fruity base note.
Gentle and mild Tobermory touches the tip of the tongue before spicy woody notes and dark fruit flavors spread voluminously in the palate. A pinch of pepper heats the tongue and smoking, dark apple flavor mixes with oranges and apricots, slightly caramelized sugar rests on the tongue, the pleasant sharpness is distributed in the entire mouth and massaging tongue and cheek inside ;-) Stick intense spice and herbal notes on the palate, my saliva is stimulated, the mouthfeel becomes waxy and creamy.
Voluminous warmth is still sticking on the palate, the partly peppery pungency tingles still slightly on the tongue, as well as the intensive herbal and spice note. Roasted nuts end in minimal dark and spicy wood tones, also in the aftertaste show dark oranges and slightly sourish apples. The aftertaste remains present for a felt eternity in the mouth and ends after minutes wooden and nutty with minimal hints of smoke and roasted cereal.
