Notes from a blind tasting.
In the first breath clearly fermented apples and smoke. After a while, it is already an almost classic profile of smoke and peach compote. Would spontaneously put him to Islay. Delicate citrus and slightly fleshy notes and caramel can be found. When heated, some acid and cereals are added.
Starts herbal with lots of herbs and then quickly becomes fruity sweet, but moderate. There is also a clear acidity. The mouthfeel is a bit oily, yet thin, the alcohol is moderate. The entire flavor development is very pleasing.
The finish warms long and clear, the sweet notes dominate clearly, dried apple pieces. The finish is medium in length.
