- There are definitely more complex malts out there, especially concerning the panoply of flavours. But what makes this one special is the subtle and almost perfect symbiosis between spirit and wood. Sensational structure !
- A rich body.
Soft,complex, citrus and spices.
Again soft,Treacle malt. Liquorice. Aniseed. Spicy again. Complex.
Roots. Lemony. Salty notes. Warming. Soothing. Very long aftertaste.
- Ridicously good taste and finish. Tasted blindly.
At first almost sour, then mushrooms, juniper and afterwards more classic sherry. Grapefruits, plums, madeira, chalk, blueberries, tea and liquorice. ABV seems high.
Soft and silky taste with burnt caramel and strawberries.
Wood (not too much, just a perfect amount), cinnamon and muscat.
