- I'm a fan of Old Pulteney whisky. This one has something of Old Pulteney in the distance that is a plus. It is best to drink with coffee. No sense in describing more details, he is not worth it (well, a 7: a good enough). Not recommended, apparently I don't want any young Old Pulteney's
- Not a bad NAS whisky, on the contrary. Nice combination and quite with small complexities. Solid for the money.
Honey, lemon, minimal chocolate, dextrose, a little vanilla. Minimal berry fruits. After a while some cereals and berries increase.
Not very complex, but the nose stimulates and makes you want to drink the whisky.
Very cute. The honey dominates and gets a little darker. A spice pushes on the tongue. Cereals, vanilla and the berry fruits are beautifully integrated. After some time comes some salt. Everything clothed by this spiciness.
Spices. First a glucose sweetness, then comes a bitterness. Everything is dominated by honey and grain. Medium length finish.

Refreshing, floral notes, Citrus, Orange, Peach, Strawberries, Cheese Cake, Leather.

- Already a nice malt!
clear sherry, dark dry fruits, raisins, sultanas;
soft voluminous onset, spice / oak, dry sherry, dried fruits, tobacco, herbs, oily body;
medium-long and dry spicy, oak, bitterness;
- Aroma: sweet baking with sprinkling, lemon and orange marmalade, dry white wine, citrus zest, lemon juice, sawdust, cardboard, menthol freshness, sea tones: iodine, salt, fresh sea air.
Taste: sweet, spicy-ginger, sweet fruits: peaches, apricots, turning into a spicy bitterness from citrus peel, salted caramel, oak tannins.
Finish: taste continuation: ginger, sweetness, oak, walnut, lemon peel, lemonade, warming, medium length.
- I do not really remember anymore if Sherry and Old Pulteney fit together, is always slightly contradictory, is somehow delicious, but not quite round.
Quite edgy sherry, dusty, but sticky, behind nice touches of blood orange, orange bitters, linen sacks, brown malt, some fresh rye bread, brown sugar, cocoa powder, nutmeg, some clove, dusty leather
First comes directly with a lot of dark malt, then light raisins, some grapefruit, rye bread, cloves and nutmeg, cinnamon, cocoa powder, thyme and oregano, dusty leather, some tobacco, herbal honey, a little salt in between
Salt and pepper, rye bread, clove and nutmeg, malt, tannins and middle-aged oak, dry-salty, long
- Nose is awful. Taste is a bit better.
Husky. Cheesy. Notes of yeast and sick.
Musty. More butric notes. Becomes sweeter later.
