Heavily sherried, obviously, but it has this ashy and leathery component that I love. Very fruity -- cherries, prunes, mandarin oranges - mix of fruits that I find in much older glendronachs (1972's!!!!), although not as polished or concentrated. Perfect ABV of 54%. Can add a few drops of water, but there's no need really.
Overall, this is an astoundingly good whisky for something so young. I would love to own a whole bottle of this, if it even exist. This is not a single cask, but came from oloroso casks. Bottling date for this 50ml sample was November 16, 2016 at 11:32. I am scoring this an absolutely surprising 92 points, which is higher than any of the single casks of solist sherry Kavalans I've tried.
