After adding 3 drops of water, the pepper, alcohol and glue stepped forward. Not really pleasant.
Another 3 drops of water made the dram sweeter, the unpleasant aromas stepped back, but were still stronger than undiluted.
Another three drops of water made the dram really smooth, mellow, sweet and really kicked in the sherry, but lost on the spices and malty aromas.
I prefer this dram neat.
Plums, red grapes, "Rote Grütze", hints of glue
again red fruit, sherry, malted barley, oranges, cloves and maybe a hint of cinnamon, Lebkuchen
Long finish. The malty sweetness stays long and evolves to treacle, dark chocolate and hints black pepper.
