  1. Archer scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

Beautifully varied, very well integrated alcohol: the fun in the glass. wlak 17-1
    • Nose
Another sweet fruit. After a while, notes of tropical fruits such as passion fruit & mango, tangerine aroma can be found. Vanilla and honey, cereals ... an aerosol honey bread.
    • Taste
Strong onset, creamy, with lots of vanilla and less fruit than the nose suggests. A fruit note is indeed present, but not as tropical-looking as long as in the nose. Almond slivers and yeast mares, honey again. The alcohol is very well integrated.
    • Finish
Medium to long, still creamy, the nut / almond component becomes stronger, barely any fruit, it swings to earthy, loamy.

  2. Kantenmechaniker scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

Totally creamy, delicious to drink. One of the few whiskys that I would definitely drink with water.
    • Nose
Coconut, vanilla, a lot of alcohol, which has a lot of cracks, shortcooking, very creamy texture, a hint of banana, some passion fruit, pepper, the alcohol prevents a little more filigree notes with water: now he also makes, now here also tart fruit, grapefruit, slightly iodine, spicy, some maggic herb, the creamy basic feeling remains, with some time comes through again coconut and vanilla
    • Taste
oily and creamy in the mouth, wow nice sweet, light bitterness, grapefruit, intense, beautiful, in the mouth the alcohol is barely noticeable with water: much better, super smooth and creamy, espresso, some oak comes through now, the grapefruit is there, but now blends well into the overall structure, vanilla, not so intense, but just more harmonious
    • Finish
still harsh and sweet, rather short with water: actually a little longer with nuts and the well-known tartness

  4. Albaron scored this whisky 86 points Specialist

A delicious whisky, which is nice malty and above all has a great long finish. The nose is the weak point because it is very closed there.
    • Nose
malty, with a strong citrus note, slightly bitter-sour, gooseberry, a gentle vanilla / toffee note in the background, towards vanilla kipper
    • Taste
The malty is also found here, as well as the citrus notes, the vanilla / toffee notes are clearer here and interweave well with the malt and the barley sugar plays as well as pure
    • Finish
It remains the beautiful malty, with some black tea and barrel wort

the whisky is harmonious and good to drink
    87 of 100P
    • Nose
Vanilla, fresh, citrus, slightly smoky, nice nose with a pleasant bite
    • Taste
tingling tangerine, vanilla, cake dough, very pleasant, while slightly biting - good
    • Finish
      medium, pleasant finish

  6. Noface83 scored this whisky 89 points Specialist

Nose: Tropical fruits, citrus, herbal candy, fresh wood, honey and vanilla, something wild and earthy in the background Taste: fruity with tangerine and a mix of exotic fruits, slightly snappy wood, candy sweetness and a hint of menthol and herbs, nice long finish with sweet multivitamin juice and fresh wood. Great, simple, straight and snappy.
